Applied Geoscience and Engineering, Inc.

Consulting Civil Engineers - Specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, Soils Laboratory Testing, and Environmental Services

Openings for Engineers, Field Inspectors and Technicians

AG&E has openings for engineers, field inspectors and laboratory technicians.  Engineering duties involve classifying soils and rock, performing soils and foundation analyses, selecting foundation types, and preparing reports.  Field inspection duties involve conducting compaction and concrete tests, approving footing subgrade, and performing other construction-related tests.  The ability to perform soil and rock drilling inspections (after training with AG&E personnel) will be required for all applicants. The inspectors and technicians assist engineers with recording field data, preparing boring logs and profiles, and preparing reports for clients.

All candidates should be proficient in mechanics, mathematics, and computer software programs including MS Word and Excel.  AutoCAD skill is a definite plus.  Candidates for engineering positions preferably be an M.S. graduate in Civil Engineering and should have a good analytical background in soil mechanics and foundation engineering.  Most importantly, candidates should have a strong interest in geotechnical engineering and/or soil lab testing and a willingness to learn which will provide a "foundation" for your success here at AG&E.

AG&E provides employee benefits.  If interested in the above, please send a cover letter and resume to AG&E.
